  1. oh sure talk about comics – thats easy but it takes skill and determination to avoid the topic for 2hrs. so help me god if you ever talk about comics for more than 10mins …

  2. If you mix all the pigments together (crayons, paint, whatever), you get black; but mix all the visible frequencies of light together, and you get white. Something like paint absorbs most colors of light but reflect back one. So red paint absorbs all the light but red, which it reflects back to our eyes, blue absorbs everything except blue, etc., so mix all those together and you only see black b/c all the light is being absorbed. That's why a car with a black interior gets so hot, b/c it's soaking up all that light and heat. This is what my 8th grade art teacher told me, anyway, and that was a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

The Guardians are practically villains now. All the good Lanterns should break away from them and do their own thing. Wasn't there a time when they all went off to another dimension and left the Corps to itself? I think it was back in the 80s, maybe. They went with the Zamorans or Zamorians, those alien ladies who looked like Amazons, who were supposed to be what all the female Oans turned into. Am I remembering this right? Maybe that was pre-Crisis continuity. Anyway, the Guardians suck.

    1. Thanks for the explanation Paul and thanks for supporting the show. That mini was Millennium and ironically spawned off New Guardians if I remember correctly. They are just cranky because they haven't gotten laid in awhile. Maybe it was pre-crisis but I thought it was after.
