I am now 38 minutes and 28 seconds into this podcast and you guys have just started to talk about comics. Even the conversation that has started is still very grade 4. I have to say that this podcast is a very big waste of time. The reviews are hard to get through and the episodes are all about a few guys trying to out "Standup" each other. I know its hard to just talk strictly about the books but you guys never seem to offer one solitary piece of real criticism that is worth calling a review. I have listened to 6 episodes of yours now but I couldnt take it anymore.
Some much potential here just totally wasted. You guys seem to know your stuff too which is a shame. Pick it up guys…really. I am here to listen to comic talk. Oh..after the aforementioned time stamp..this particular podcast is not that bad. Just need to cut the first 40 minutes out.
Thanks for trying the podcast out Chris, but maybe this podcast is not for you. I am glad you stopped by and took the time to let us know how you felt. Our podcast is pretty much just a bunch of friends hanging out talking about the things we like and yes there maybe a lot of inside jokes between us, but that is because we are close friends. It is like talking on the phone and just recording it. We appreciate you giving the show a try but we never claimed to be a review show. Way back when the show first started out it was like that but it morphed. We talk about comics and make a lot of noise (which you don't like). I recommend you trying Raging Bullets (DC talk), Alt3red Egos podcast, Comic Book Page, and/or Tales from the Longbox. Those are some of the ones I listen to and enjoy and for the most part they stay on topic.
When doing a podcast for so long you often change the format and style just to keep everybody wanting to do it. Our show has turned into a conversation show amongst friends. We find some people absolutely love it and others absolutely hate it. We can't please everyone so we please ourselves 🙂 **lyrics from a song***
