  1. Hi guys,

great episode! I just love hearing you all geeking out! I also liked the addition of Darrell Taylor. I like the interaction between the three of you.

So first of all Star Trek TNG was the best star trek series and PICARD is the single greatest character in the Star Trek universe! He was an intellectual diplomat, who respected all life forms and always strived to find a peaceful solution! Further he was highly regarded and respected. He also had the necessary gravitas to lead a team. He didn't just bark orders at his crew, instead he encouraged his officers to take responsibility and work as a team to find the mose effective solutions. In TNG the team always worked together to solve the problem. they understood that cooperation is essential to reach your goals.

In addition the best thing about TNG is the peaceful message. The TNG crew always tried to save lives and establish peaceful and respectful relationships to other cultures. They succesfully conveyed the message that ALL LIFE IS SACRED. And that is just beautiful!

So on to the comics: Batgirl is great. The characterization is sopt on and the humor is great. I would like to see Brian Q Miller write more books in the DCU. Dustin Nguyen on the other hand is the icing on the cake. I love his simplistic yet moody and effective style.

R.E.B.E.L.S. is also great because it features a lot of great but underused characters in the DCU. Thats why I will also get weird worlds (in trade)

    lastly thanks for the episode!

  2. @ Mike:

Yeah i've heard about the cancelation. I was hoping this wouldn't happen, but the sales were just too low. I can't understand why people weren't buying that book!

I also was very dissapointed that doom patrol was canceled. I am of the opinion that Giffen was doing a wonderful job on that book. I am sad to see that book go away. I will miss all the crazy concepts, characters and ideas that are presented in that book.
