DC Noise 111 – Superman attacked by The Geek Savants

Mike and Keith begin the show by discussing the CGS topic our comic book hero Mount Rushmore and DC Creator Mount Rushmore. We than get into Superman as he walks across America and Superman is attacked by the Geek Savants across Skype. Who will win? The guys get into some deep Superman discussion about JMS leaving the book, how Superman and Lois have sex, and Child abuse. The love of Action Comics is entered with how Luthor is searching for the Black Ring energy as he tours the DC Universe and meeting up with various villains. We touch on Jimmy Olson and conclude with Superman/Batman “who would win discussion”. This one is all over the map as we laugh and get into some serious discussions.

Please join us, but note the Explicit tag on this one. Please don’t listen to this one in the office out loud.

  1. What a show!

I never thought I'll discuss this but…I don't think that Superman has super ejaculations. I don't like it when writers say that Superman has super human funcionts, like sneazing. It doesn't make sense to me.

About JMS it's also DC fault. They want fast a sequal to Earth one. So they both gave preference to that projects, but I don't like that he quit Superman and Wonderwoman.

Right now I'm loving what Paul Cornell is doing wiht Lex Luthor. The one with Savage was really funny. Just great stuff

    Happy holidays!

  2. @Mónica

See I think Superman would have a super sneeze and ejaculation due to the Sun. He probably could get one of those Red Sun projectors to have sex :).

Good Point Monica. We came down on JMS when in fact it seems to be a mutual decision by DC and JMS.

Action Comics is one of the best comic books on the shelves. Loving the journey.

Happy Holidays to you too and thanks for supporting the show every week.
