1. Hey guys!

   cool episode. The books were all fantastic.

   My favourite was Brightest Day 0. Oh and Maxwell Lord erased himself from the memory of all of the earths population in that particular scene were he lost so much blood! I thought that was pretty bad ass and creepy!

   Man I wish I could be with you at the con. Well maybe next time.

   And yeah Max Lord it’s a creepy dude, but I don’t what to think about him and Wonder Woman, I guess she deosn’t remember killing him…

3. hey guys I was just rereading batman r.i.p and realized something that I wanted to share with you. (it is maybe a spoiler so beware ;-))

   In the first issue of r.i.p Tim Drake asks Alfred Pennyworth about damians dna test. He wants to know if Damian is truly Bruce`s son. He does not get an answer.

   Now I think that Damian is not Bruce`s son. I think that Damian is Jason Todds son!!!

   1. If you recall in the UNDER THE HOOD story Jason Todd spends quite a while with Talia al guhl and Ras al guhl. This would give Talia enough time to steal his dna.

   2. According to wikipedia in grant`s first arc BATMAN AND SON, Damian dons a variant Robin costume made of Jason Todd's old tunic and mask and assorted League of Assassin gear. (So his costume and equipment are a combination of talia and Jason)

   3. Damian`s behaviour is very similar to todd`s. They are both angry and they both tend to jump into action without assessing the situation properly.

   4. It makes sense that Bruce would want to have Damian around. He wants to prevent Damian from becoming (another) Jason Todd.

   5 After Bruce`s death (in an outsiders issue) several bat-family members are summoned into the batcave. Everyone of those people (but most importantly Dick Grayson) was shown a specific recording Bruce had made prior to his death. We did not see what Bruce had to say to dick.

   I presume Bruce told dick that Damian is Jason Todd`s son and that he shouldtake care of him. Thus he made Damian the new Robin.

   So what do you think? do you agree?

4. badsoul, I read BD #1 and JL: Generation Lost #1 and was floored to see the reason Max Lord did that! He needs to be caught! I am really looking forward to Heroescon, it’s like a reunion.

5. Thanks for listening badsoul and Monica. Brightest Day looks like it is going to be a very solid book exploring the DC Universe with a lot of my favorite characters. I am very interested to see what unfolds with Max but I have not read Generations yet.

   You made quite a good point so I went back and reread BATMAN UNDER THE HOOD.

   In BATMAN ANNUAL 25 Talia does not only help Jason Todd, but she also restores his memory (by throwing him in a lazarus pit) and helps him to escape form Ras alguhl. But the most interesting thing is that she KISSES him after helping him escape!

   So I think she must see him as worthy to kiss him!

   what do you think?

7. Interesting theory, it kinda fits. You’re right Bruce didn’t anwer the DNA question, but my only argument against that theory it’s that I don’t think that Talia would agree or choose Jason Todd to be father of her kid. She doesn’t sees him as worth it

   I too cant wait to see what Bruce will do when he gets back. I mean there is so much going on.

   I am anticipating the reunion between bruce and the bat-family and Bruce`s reaction to what happened in Gotham (the gang wars, new black mask and so on).

   This is going to be awesome!

10. That’s awesome, badsoul, I think you’ve cracked this mystery! You may be the world’s greatest detective! That means when Bruce comes back, he’ll kick Damien to the curb and bring Tim back because those Robin tights are just too small for Dick now.
