  1. did you guys read the last days of animal man #1? I am wondering if Buddy is going to become Aquaman. If you notice the only animal he can hold contact with is a sea animal. let me know!

  2. I have it here but haven't read it yet. Gonna try and get to it before we record this weekend. That is an interesting theory about Buddy becoming Aquaman. I don't know if that will pan out because this series is supposed to be set in the not-to-distant future. Something like 10 or 15 years forward from the current DCU continuity.

Thanks for listening and commenting. And after I have read the issue I will have more to say on that theory I am sure.

  3. were you able to read animal man yet? do you see what I'm saying? seems that he can only use sustain his powers with sea creatures!@Eric

    1. Yeah, I can see where you are getting the idea. It seemed like he was able to better use the sharks abilities than any other animal. I know an upcoming issue has something to do with a whale-like creature from the Green Lantern Corps, so you may be on to something. I really hope he doesn't become like Aquaman though. I like him as just Animal Man.

  4. ya, but they might be injecting new life into Aquaman…everyone loves him (aquaman), but they haven't had a good way to make him relevant…i guess. i mean, for awhile (in my opinion) wonder woman was in danger of falling off of the relevancy map too! Gail Simone has created a wonderful voice for her

Also, do you know if the Question and the Riddler ever teamed up. This thought occurred to me today at work thought that if they haven't, even though it seems a bit obvious, they should. that'd be super interesting!

  5. There was a Riddler appearance in the Dennis O'Neil Question series in issue #26. http://www.vicsage.com/dc/question26.php

Basically Riddler was holding a bus hostage that Vic and Tot were also on and Vic donned his mask and basically owned Riddler by throwing all kinds of his Zen philosophy ideas at him. Great issue.
